We collect questions, queries or feedback you leave, including your email address if you contact info@oakleyssc.com.

Your store your email address, home address and contact information when you join as a member.

This data can only be viewed by authorised people in the Oakley Sports and Social Club Committee.

Membership data is stored on servers which conform to recommended security practices.

By submitting your personal data, you agree to this.

When you provide us with your email address, this will be used to send you confirmation of your membership status and not for marketing purposes.

As a subscriber to our email alerts, we may contact you from time to time to ask for your feedback on how to improve our email alert service.

As a data processor on behalf of Oakley Sports and Social Club we will use your information to send you email alerts if you request them.

New / renewed memberships taken online are stored on our website to evidence the transaction.

Contact form submissions made via our website is stored on the system and emailed to designate committee members.

Sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit.

Any data you send is at your own risk.

We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.

How do we keep this Information

We will retain a record of your personal information on a secured database. 

If you purchased or renewed your membership using our online system, then the website will keep a record of your transaction, and the data you provided, for 18 months.  The payment gateway is PayPal, and they will use your PayPal data to process this transaction.  A record of your PayPal transaction is recoded on their systems in line with their policies and is outside the scope of Oakley Sports & Social Club’s data protection policies.

This is done in order to provide you with a high quality and consistent service. We will always retain your personal information in accordance with law and regulation and never retain your information for longer than is necessary.

Disclosing your information

We may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so, or if we have to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements.

We won’t share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we don’t pass on your details to other websites.
